Privacy Policy

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any difference, the Korean version prevails. This policy is based on the original text from our previous website (effective April 21, 2022). We have removed provisions that do not apply to the services this site now offers (company and product information and inquiry submission), such as those covering online store payments, shipping, and account registration.

1. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

The Company collects and uses personal information to respond to inquiries submitted through the site’s inquiry function and to provide requested materials such as catalogs, drawings, and quotes. Collected information is not used for any purpose other than those stated here.

2. Personal Information Collected and How It Is Collected

Required: inquiry type, name (or company name), phone number, and inquiry details. Optional: email address. This information is collected when you enter it directly into the site’s inquiry form. The site does not offer account registration. We do not collect unique identifiers such as Korean resident registration (national ID) numbers.

3. Retention and Deletion of Personal Information

Personal information is deleted without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled, for example, once an inquiry has been handled. Electronic files are deleted in a way that makes them unrecoverable. However, where the law requires certain information to be kept, it is retained for the required period.

4. Sharing of Personal Information

As a rule, the Company does not share users’ personal information with other individuals, companies, or organizations. The exceptions are when the user has consented, when required by law, or when a law enforcement agency requests it following procedures prescribed by law. When needed for statistics, academic research, or market research, information is provided only in a form that cannot identify a specific individual.

5. Outsourced Processing of Personal Information

Information entered in the inquiry form is delivered to the Company’s email (office@barunsash.com) through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form delivery service. In this process, the information passes through and is processed on that service provider’s servers, and the service provider may be located outside Korea. If you prefer not to submit an inquiry this way, you can call us (031-357-9918) instead.

6. Use of Cookies and Site Analytics

The site has no login feature, and the Company does not set any cookies to identify users. We do use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (visits, popular pages, traffic sources). Google sets cookies for this purpose and collects statistics with IP addresses anonymized. These statistics are never linked to personal information such as names or contact details and are used only to improve the site. External services such as web font and map services may also use their own cookies, and you can allow or refuse cookies in your web browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Measures to Protect Personal Information

The Company keeps the number of employees who handle personal information to a minimum, limits access to inquiries containing personal information to the staff in charge, and safeguards personal information against loss, theft, leakage, and alteration.

8. Users’ Rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. For any complaints or concerns about your personal information, please contact the Privacy Officer below. We will act on your request promptly once we receive it and let you know the outcome.

9. Protection of Children’s Personal Information

Children under 14 must obtain the consent of a legal guardian before providing personal information.

11. Effective Date

This Privacy Policy takes effect on September 21, 2026. It replaces the previous policy (effective April 21, 2022). If laws or Company policies change, we will post a notice on the site.
